Privacy Policy

WellSpent is designed to keep your work records on your iPhone. No data is collected from the app.

The short version

No account, server, advertising, analytics, tracking, CloudKit sync, or third-party runtime service is used by WellSpent.

Information you create

WellSpent stores the projects, optional emoji and colors, session timestamps, notes, tags, and preferences you create. This information remains in the app's local storage on your iPhone. It is not sent to the developer.

Data collection and sharing

WellSpent does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal information or app activity. It contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, crash-reporting SDK, or user-tracking technology.

Live Activities

When a timer is running, WellSpent can show elapsed time and a Stop action on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. Project names are hidden there by default. You can choose to show them in Settings. The app and its widget exchange only the local information needed to keep that timer action accurate.

Backups, retention, and deletion

WellSpent activity data is excluded from iCloud and computer device backups. It remains on the iPhone until you delete individual sessions, choose Settings → Erase All WellSpent Data, or delete the app. Erasing all data removes projects, sessions, notes, custom tags, preferences, and pending Lock Screen actions from that iPhone.

Permissions and network access

Version 0.1.0 does not request Calendar or notification access and does not provide file export. WellSpent has no account or cloud sync and does not use a network client to transmit your app data.

Children's privacy

Because WellSpent collects no information from any user, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If WellSpent's data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the changed version is made available.
