Frequently asked questions
How do I start, switch, or stop a timer?
On Track, tap a project to start it. Tap another project to switch at one exact timestamp. Use Stop in the app, on the Lock Screen, or in the Dynamic Island to finish the session.
Where are my time records?
Open Reports for day, week, and project totals, or open Session History for individual records. Tap a total to see the source sessions behind it.
Does WellSpent sync or back up my data?
No. WellSpent 0.1.0 is intentionally local-only, and its activity data is excluded from device backups. Deleting the app or erasing its data is permanent.
Why is a project name hidden on the Lock Screen?
That is the privacy-safe default. To show project names in Live Activities, open WellSpent Settings and enable Show project names.
A Live Activity is missing or out of date. What should I do?
Open WellSpent to reconcile the saved timer. If Live Activities are disabled, enable them in the iPhone Settings app. The in-app timer and saved timestamps remain the source of truth.
How do I erase everything?
Open WellSpent Settings, scroll to Local data, tap Erase All WellSpent Data, and confirm. This cannot be undone.
